Teen Queens

The Teen Queens were an Australian girl group, which scored a string of hit singles in the 1990s with updated remakes of hits from the 1950s and 1960s.
==Background==
The group consisted of singer/actresses Kellie Hoggart, Liza Witt, and Roxanne Clark. All three formed the group in 1990 with the intention of getting a TV program off the ground about a girl group in 1960s Sydney. But when the pilot was turned down the trio decided to make the group a reality, which would pay off in 1992 when their remake of "Be My Baby" became a #6 hit on the ARIA chart. Their album ''Get Happy!'' was released in November 1992 and charted at #36.
They had further hits including "I Can't Help Myself" (#28) and "Love How You Love Me" (#14),
A new single, "Baby It's You" was released in 1993 but was not a success, peaking at #91 on the ARIA chart.
